Good news…the WordPress hack appears to only have adjusted the settings for our permalink structure which we have changed back to it’s original setting.  We are in the process of deleting bogus user accounts on the blog to close the door on this hack in the future.  In order to not have your blog account deleted, please be sure to add your First and Last name to your blog profile.  If we see a First and Last name and an email that we do not recognize then we will be deleting that account.

The even better news is that only our blog was affected.  Your personal information, banking details etc are in a completely different system on a totally separate and very secure host.  No private information was compromised by this WordPress blog hack.

Check another item off the To-Do list!  Our very own CrossFit Saskatoon Forum is up and operational.

Keeping with the simple is beautiful theme of CrossFit, your CFS Blog id/password is now also your id/password for the CFS Forum…and as an added bonus your Gravatar works in the Forum too (isn’t it sad how these kind of things make me so happy?)!  I have a couple of tweaks left to make to the Forum page (eg. getting rid of the pics on the left so the forum can take up the entire width of the page), but don’t let that stop you from diving into and using the Forum.  As always, any suggestions you have on how to make the Forum better are much appreciated.  I will also be putting a Forum link in the Header of the CFS home page, but in the meantime I have put a link in the “Community” section of the CFS website.  Click HERE to go to the CFS Forum!

Rest Day

- A much deserved rest day.  we wish everyone a very merry Christmas and we will see you all in the new year.

- Please fill up on turkey and sweets the next couple of days as we are back at it on the 27th.

Egg nog is one of my favorite holiday treats - I hope everyone can take the time to enjoy themselves and relax with freinds and relatives this holiday season.  For all of those traveling please drive safely.
